FAQ: What's the best order in which to watch all the DVDs and videos here, in the Forex On Fire System?
There's so much to watch, I don't know how to get started.
Answer: It's highly recommended that you follow these easy steps to get the most out of the system:
- I suggest that you plan on viewing them several times, with different objectives in mind each time. The FIRST time you watch the DVDs, do so to familiarize yourself with the core trading concepts, the signals, and to get comfortable with all the content.
The SECOND time you watch the DVDs, be sure to do so with your "Book of Charts" handy, with several pencils/pens ready, so that you can annotate the charts with key insights, trading signal ideas, and a "trading plan action items" list to work on.
After you've done this, and have practiced what you've learned with your trading software and charts, I'd then recommend that you periodically REVIEW the DVDs once every couple of months or so, to stay sharp and not forget key details and trading signals.
- You can download and watch the new videos that are posted here anytime; however it's recommended that you do so only AFTER you've watched the DVDs at least once, so that you will understand the advanced trading strategies that I'll be revealing here.
- As you watch the videos (both the DVDs and the downloadable ones here), please be sure to make a brief bullet-point trading plan, with your most important "lessons learned" and tips from the videos, that you can use to help guide you in your trades.
Simply watching the concepts does not help you unless you put them into ACTION, which means develop a brief written outline or flowchart of key steps you'll take, and which signals to start mastering first, second and so on. Kind of like watching an exercise video vs actually following along and DOING what's being shown to you.
- Practice makes perfect....be sure to only papertrade/practice trade using the concepts presented at first, so that you can master them and TEST them out for your own trading skills and abilities. Achieving success in trading, like anything, does not happen overnight... so your GOAL while learning is to preserve capital and DEVELOP specific professional trading skills, which takes many months (or even years, depending on your skills and trading abilities).
Be patient, test, track, and refine until you're consistently successful at it on paper first. You should be at a point where you can at least double a practice trading account within 60 days (I recommend using fxcm.com), using consistent 1-lot size paper trades with no greater than 200-pip stops (swingtrading) or 40-pip stops (intraday trading), before even THINKING about using real capital.
